What did we expect?!....

Did this come as a surprise to ANYONE?!

As stated, this is not a political website. I will try to steer clear of politics as much as possible.
I will say only this: American (and other other countries) foreign policy stems from the very 'problems' discussed here. When peoples blatantly disregard other people's beliefs and rights conflict will result. Conflict has come in the form of terrorism.

Any fanatics are dangerous, on any 'side'. "Holy War"...."jihad"...? What is that?! Contradiction... Oxymoron... Whatever you think of as 'God' whom are you to dare asssume you understand him/her so much as to kill for or in the name of God?!

Being a fanatic is completely illogical. Are we so childish and ignorant that we presume to know the whole truth about anything?! Logic dictates that we know only parts of the truth. If this makes sense to you then you surely realize how ridiculous it is to assume your view is the only truth.

Beyond this, there needs to be greater understanding of the rights of each and every human.
Each person has the right to be. Each person has the right to their own beliefs.

No one has the right to change another.

If you do not believe this, then simply realize that living contrary to these principles will bring conflict. If major powers don't do their level best to respect every creed race or colour as they respect themselves, then the consequences will be conflict - in this case, terrorism.

Dare I say "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"?*

It is very very simple.

By the way: You cannot fight terrorism. I cannot believe the stupidity of so called experts who are wasting incredible resources to come up with counter-terrorism strategies! YOU CANNOT FIGHT TERRORISM. Anyone can be a terrorist and strike anywhere. Considering the extreme and unbalanced views of some peoples and the fact that they are willing to die for them, only makes it more impossible to counteract.

Where are the incredible resources for an organisation to build new foreign policy, to solve the original problem rather than it's symptoms?!
