The problem is not with the world.
The problem is not with 'human nature'. 'Human nature' is a cop-out. Animals don't behave like we do and they are more slaves to their 'nature' than we are. We make choices. We decide how we live.

The problem with us is ignorance which leads to fear and greed.*

Humans have been killing each other for thousands of years and now we are killing the planet and the animals too. To quote "The Matrix" again; there is only one other organism that does this (i.e. destroys the environment which it needs to live in), a virus.

Now think to the unbelievable stupidity of this... We destroy our brothers and sisters and even the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe.

Part of ignorance is thinking small. Thinking beyond your neighborhood, your state, your country you may realise this is the human race! It is not the black race, the white race, the christian race, the muslim race, the race of a country or the race for material wealth.

The real human race, in the big picture, is the race for all humankind to survive, learn and grow.
