The process:

First couple of plates out. What I never realised, before, was that there are actually 3 plates there to be removed.
(Tome's 2 plates replace all 3). In this picture the very back one is still attached.

Crappy old original bash plates. Far right one is actually made of plastic ... Genius...

Just to show the rear plates as well as front plate.

Shows the support bracket.

Now one of the most difficult and vital steps...

This is what covers the aircon grill, plastic with big spaces...

With the shield, by T0me, installed, it's a lot safer.
