We arrive on the beach at 'Sunrise Beach' which is a bit further north than Coolum.

Having climbed the rocks at the point, we're now looking back to where the photo above this was taken. 
It's really a pretty spectacular
spot.
Somar considers going out onto the rocks. Marc advises her not to.

We stayed at the "Coolum Budget Accomodation" motel, which was pretty damn good consider our room was only $80/night and near the beach, air-conditioned and with cable TV.
Having said that, the next time we stay in Coolum Beach, we will be staying at the caravan park instead.
The caravan park will suit me/us more
because it's closer(literally 'on' the beach) to the beach, they rent boards, are right on the main drag and would cost only about $30/night if you're in a tent. |
